What is chiropractic care?
Chiropractors are specialists who provide diagnosis, treatment and preventative care for issues related to the spine, pelvis, extremities, nervous system and muscles. Chiropractors spend up to 8 years in post-secondary education to be able to evaluate, diagnose and develop a treatment plan to meet a patient’s specific needs.
Chiropractors use manual techniques, such as spinal adjustments, to align the spine and joints.
A chiropractic adjustment is the use of a specific, controlled force applied to a restricted joint that is not moving properly or positioned properly. Chiropractic adjustments help return the bones to a normal position and restore proper range of motion to the joint, which can lead to improved mobility, reduced inflammation, and enhanced overall well-being.
